Less is More.

Have you ever thought of that?
A few years ago; during Covid, there were racial tensions, protests, elections, and there was much chaos, confusion and negativity.
Many people were anxious and depressed.

And I came across this verse-
Proverbs 12:25-Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.

And I started thinking:
Less news, more peace,
Less social media/cell phone, more contentment
Less politics, more happiness.

People were getting anxious because they were listening to all of this negativity, and because of that, they were getting depressed.
This verse tells us a good word makes glad.
Well, if good words make glad, than bad words or negative words would do the opposite, make you depressed.
So when you keep away from negative news/conversation/people you will eliminate much anxiety, which leads to depression.
But when you add to that, the good word of the Bible, you will be glad, happy, peaceful!

Psalm 119:165 says-Great peace have those that love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.
The world wants us to stumble, by all the negativity it feeds us, But God wants to give us peace, and that comes from His word, the Bible.

Psalm 1 talks about the person who doesn’t listen to the world’s negativity, but delights in God’s word, and the result; he is  like a fruitful tree planted by rivers of water, and he prospers.

So, you want to be a happy, peaceful person?
Less is more!
Take in less of all the negativity you hear from various voices, and more of God’s word!

But if you are not a Christian, you need to be.
The Bible says we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ-Romans 5:1

This is where the peace and happiness start.

So if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Click on the, “How to know God” link on this website, and you will be led to find that peace.
God bless you!
