A Good Eye, A Life Full of Light

Matthew 6:22 - The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

Attitude is everything. 

If our outlook on life is Spiritually positive, our whole body will be full of light; meaning, we will be content, at peace, trusting God in everything. 

If not, everything will be dark, negative. 

We can choose to look at things with faith and optimism, or with doubt, complaining, and negativity.

Many times our mental default mode is negative, because of the world, the flesh, and the devil. 

For instance, we look at something and worry; Jesus says don’t worry, but seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He promises to take care of everything. (Matthew 6:31-33)

For to be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:6)

I choose to…..Set my mind on things above, not on the things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2)
