Serving Our Community with the Love of Christ
"For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed Me."— Matthew 25:35
At Impact Bible Fellowship, we believe the Gospel is lived out not only through words, but through compassionate service.
Manna Ministries exists to share the love of Jesus in practical ways by providing meals, food assistance, biblical encouragement, and genuine friendship to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity throughout our community.
Every week, dedicated volunteers come together to prepare meals, distribute food, pray with individuals, and share the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Whether serving a warm dinner at Fairmount Park or helping provide food boxes to families in need, our desire is simple : to be the hands and feet of Christ.
More Than a Meal
Each Thursday afternoon, Manna Ministries gathers at Fairmount Park in Riverside to serve a freshly prepared meal while also offering something even greater : the hope of the Gospel.
Our outreach begins with a warm welcome, followed by a time of biblical encouragement and prayer. Volunteers spend time getting to know those who attend, building relationships, listening to their stories, and reminding each person that they are deeply loved by God.
In addition to a hot meal, clothing and other donated necessities are often available, and even pet food is distributed to those caring for their faithful companions.
This ministry is about more than meeting physical needs. It is about seeing people, loving people, and pointing them to Christ.
Serving Through Food Distribution
Throughout the week, volunteers faithfully help collect, organize, and distribute food to families throughout our community.
Through a partnership with Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino, donated food is collected daily from local stores and carefully sorted by volunteers.
Every Thursday morning, hundreds of food boxes are prepared and distributed through a drive-through food pantry, serving approximately 250–300 families each week. Food assistance is also available to those attending Sunday services, and the ministry proudly serves as a local 211 food assistance resource for those seeking help.
Every box of food is an opportunity to extend dignity, compassion, and the love of Christ.
Preparing with Purpose
Long before Thursday evening outreach begins, volunteers spend the day preparing fresh meals that will be served at Fairmount Park.
From chopping vegetables and preparing salads to cooking, packaging utensils, organizing supplies, and loading vehicles, every task becomes an act of worship and service.
These behind-the-scenes moments are just as important as the outreach itself. Every meal is prepared with excellence, prayer, and a heart to bless those who receive it.
A Place to Serve
One of the beautiful things about Manna Ministries is that there are countless ways to get involved.
Whether your gifts are cooking, organizing, serving meals, praying with others, transporting supplies, collecting donations, or simply offering a warm smile and conversation, there is a place for you.
You don't need special experience. Only a willing heart.
As we serve together, we not only meet practical needs, but we also experience the joy of watching God work through ordinary people willing to say "yes" to His call.
